Autor

Dr. Petra Hölscher studied art history, romance languages, German literature and industrial anthropology at Christian-Albrechts-University, in Kiel. In November 2002 she assumed her current position as a curator—since 2007 senior curator—at Die Neue Sammlung – The Design Museum. In this position she did and still does create exhibitions about international industrial design and studio jewelry which is always accompanied by a publication. She has also written and co-authored numerous articles and books. She is also responsible for the museum's acquisitions in both fields. Susan Cummings is a jewelry designer based in Ojai, California. Flos Wildschut is an art historian and freelance curator. From a solid base in contemporary visual art, she looks for overlaps with both architecture, landscape architecture and design, but also with other forms of expression, such as music, theater, dance, film and literature. It is her ambition to share interesting developments, which she signals nationally and international, with others. This takes shape in the form of exhibitions and events, publications on contemporary art and artists, advice and juries. Lizzie Atkins is a London-based jeweler, writer, and researcher. After earning a degree in English literature, she went on to study jewelry at Middlesex University under Caroline Broadhead. She is also currently involved in a number of projects with Galerie Marzee.
