Die Holländerin Marjolein Bastin arbeitete nach dem Besuch der Akademie für Bildende Kunst in Arnheim zunächst für verschiedene Werbeagenturen und Verlage. Seit den 90erJahren zeichnet Marjolein Pflanzen und Tiere aus der ganzen Welt. Stefanie Bartsch, Jahrgang 1965, gelernte Lithografin, gestaltet seit mehr als 15 Jahren Bücher für den Coppenrath Verlag. Sie arbeitet als selbstständige Grafikerin und Fotografin und lebt in Münster.
