The challenge presented in this reflection is to teach the English language using the English words present in Citshwa as a motivating strategy. This means valuing the student's mother tongue in the educational process. The English vocabulary present in the Citshwa, if correctly explored and associated with creativity, reinforces motivation and arouses curiosity and interest, essential elements for sustainable learning.

Filipe Augusto Hoguane, nacido el 1 de octubre de 1978 en Panda-Inhambane. Es licenciado en Teología por la Universidad de África (Zimbabwe) y tiene una maestría en Pedagogía y Didáctica - Enseñanza de la Lengua Inglesa por la Universidad Metodista Unida de Moçambique. Actualmente enseña inglés en la Escuela Secundaria de Cambine - Morrumbene.
