Job satisfaction refers to a person's feeling of gratification on the job, which acts as a motivator to work. Health workers are the most important resource for health systems. Thus, health workers job satisfaction is one of the key parameters that influence productivity as well as quality of health service delivery. The objective of this study is to identify the current level and factors associated with job satisfaction among governmental health workers of Sebeta Hawas Woreda, Oromia Region. A simple random sampling method was used to select study participants. Data was collected by using a self-administered structured questionnaire adopted from Mennosota Satisfaction Questionnaire 1977 version.The collected data were coded, entered and analyzed using SPSS version 21 and the data was summarized using descriptive statistics of frequency and percentage. Bivariate and multivariate analysis were done to identify factors associated with health workers of job satisfaction and the strength of association was measured by 95% CI and P- value of 0.05 as cut off point.
