The present work has been carried out due to the lack of male teachers in the field of early childhood education, having as repercussions the structured and stigmatized thinking that the work in this field is focused only on women. In recent years, we have heard of the feminist revolution, which advocates equal rights in all aspects. Thus, the question arises, is there an insertion of male teachers in early childhood education? In order to respond to this problem, we have reviewed specific topics such as the history of education and the role of the teacher, to understand the changes it has undergone over the years and the agents that have been part of it; the influence of male and female teachers in education, the differences in the educational style and in the affectivity of both genders. Through this research and analysis, it will be possible to conclude that there is a relationship between the sex of the teacher, the relationship with the students and the importance of the presence in the first years of schooling. In this way, it is possible to suggest the insertion of male figures in kindergartens and nursery schools, with the aim of understanding and developing all the areas necessary for life in society.
