Concordantly, the book highlights the requirement of communication skills in English at the workplace and the adverse effects of skills mismatch in the organizations' performance due to low proficient English Language Proficiency. It also recommends the industry-academia interface to bridge the skills gap in the organizations.

Dr.C.ShanmugaPriya has more than12 years of teaching experience and has completed her PhD in NIT-T on skills gap in the Indian engineering enterprises.  Dr.S.Mekala is the Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at NIT-T. Her area of ¿¿specialization includes Syllabus Design and Strategic-based Instruction.
