It explores the preparation of tutors to teach about HIV and AIDS to pre-service teacher trainees at a primary teacher training college in Kenya. It attempts to answer two main questions. Moses Orwe-Onyango is a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge, Faculty of Education. He has worked as a lecturer at the Aga Khan University, Institute for Educational Development, Eastern Africa. His research interests are in science education and educators¿ professional development.
