Augustine M. Amenyah was born in Ghana. He graduated from Tamale Secondary School and the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. He has M.S in Educational Psychology and an MPH from GSU in Atlanta and the Doctorate in Adult Education from the University of Georgia, Athens USA.
