Children represent one of the unprotected strata of the population, which determines the need for special control and more thorough monitoring of the observance of their rights. This monograph is a sociological analysis of the essence and content of child abuse in the family, which aims to select and substantiate theoretical concepts and approaches to the study of the social phenomenon of child abuse in the family (identifying the types, causes and consequences of child abuse), as well as to develop on their basis a conceptual model and system of concepts for conducting sociological research on this topic.
