Chakras are often thought of as "spinning wheels of energy" in the body. When they are in balance and harmony, you'll feel full of vitality and in peak condition. But when they become unbalanced, the changes in your body's energy flow will cause you to feel tired and out of sorts. In the Chakra Workbook, author Pauline Wills explains the chakras as part of an ancient Indian healing system -- and yoga philosophy. She shows where the seven major chakra centers are located, how they are linked together, and how they influence your health and well-being. She then presents practical exercises -- ranging from color work, reflexology, yoga, and breathing exercises to meditation and mantras -- that will help you bring the chakras back into balance. Her regular chakra workout will help you improve your spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being, and help you boost your energy level to face your busy day!
