Dr Owonikoko is a lecturer at the Centre for Peace and Security Studies of the Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola, Adamawa State Nigeria. He has a doctorate degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. His major area of research is security studies especially management of non-state armed groups.
