Elizabeth Godwin Mahenge (B.A Education, Kiswahili and Fine, Performing Art, MA linguistics, PhD) is currently a teacher at the Institute for Kiswahili Research in University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She had experience in teaching Kiswahili as a second language to foreigners. She taught American students from the ACM programme, Brown, Florida, Ohio and Georgetown. She taught also students from Japan, China, South Korea, South Africa, Ghana, and UK.
