Autorenporträt
Martha Bigelow is Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on the language learning and cultural adaptation of immigrant youth in US schools. She is co-author of Literacy and Second Language Oracy, with Elaine Tarone and Kit Hansen, and author of Mogadishu on the Mississippi: Language, Racialized Identity and Education in a New Land. Johanna Ennser-Kananen is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Boston University. Her research focuses on multilingualism, linguistic legitimacy, language ideologies, and culture learning in educational settings.
