Autorenporträt
Russ Robertson began his leadership career with Walmart while in high school. Starting as an hourly store associate, he earned his way through the organization while filling several diverse leadership roles in numerous areas of his former company. In 1982, Russ was the youngest store manager in Walmart. Two years later, he was managing the 4th Sam's Club to ever open its doors. It was there that his team of dedicated and hardworking associates produced the second-highest sales revenue and net-profit dollars in the 23-year history of the Walmart organization. Over the course of his career, Russ observed a wide variety of leadership styles at all levels and witnessed over and over how people responded to those various styles of leadership. As an ongoing student of what works and what doesn't, Russ came to realize what actually matters most to regular folks in the workplace. He shares those discoveries with you in his first book, Leading Regular Folks.
