The descriptive cross-sectional study design was applied to research by using a convenience sampling technique to collect data from 333 academic staffs of JU and the analysis was conducted with descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage) and inferential statistics (correlation (Bivariate)). World health organization (WHO) set up a routine to be active every day, by planning a Physical Exercise(PE)or exercise break either by yourself, by joining an online class, or by setting up a time to be active online with your friends or colleagues. Jimma University (JU) staff were adapted to perform physical activities at the Fitness center, Stadium, and Gymnasium; these all were closed by government decree because of COVID-19 Pandemic.
