Autorenporträt
Sabine Mayr wurde 1972 in Augsburg geboren. Nach dem Abitur am Gymnasium in Wertingen studierte sie an der Universität Ulm und der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München Medizin. Zunächst war sie in der bayerischen Landeshauptstadt als Ärztin an der Dr. Hauner¿schen Kinderklinik tätig, bevor sie in die Schweiz umzog und ihren Facharzt in der Pädiatrie am Kinderspital Zürich abschloss. Zusätzlich absolvierte sie einen vierjährigen Auslandsaufenthalt in den USA. Zurück in der Schweiz erfolgte eine Weiterbildung mit Schwerpunkt Entwicklungspädiatrie, ebenfalls am Kinderspital Zürich. Seitdem arbeitet Sabine Mayr als Kinderärztin in einer Praxis. Zu den Lieblingsaktivitäten der Autorin zählen Lesen und Sport. Der Roman ¿Im Winter gibt es keine Stachelbeeren mehr¿ ist ihre erste Buchveröffentlichung. Heute lebt Sabine Mayr in Küsnacht im Schweizer Kanton Zürich. Sie ist verheiratet und Mutter dreier erwachsener Kinder.
