The German Youth Institute in Munich was founded in 1963 and is one of the largest social science research institutes in Europe. Its staff members have been researching the living conditions of children, young people and families for more than 50 years. They advise policy-makers and provide important impulses for practitioners. The authors of this report are Diana D. Schacht, Benjamin Gedon, Jakob J. Gilg, Christina Klug and Susanne Kuger.
