Originally from Argentina, Cecilia moved to the United States and lived in Brooklyn while her children were toddlers. During storytime, her daughter was always talking about an invisible friend named Zussassa. That's how this tale came to be. Cecilia currently lives in upstate New York, with her two daughters, husband and their dog. They go on hikes almost every week, always keeping an eye to see if they find Zussassa deep in the forest.
