Produktbeschreibung
From 2002 to 2011, Côte d'Ivoire experienced a socio-political crisis that had serious consequences in terms of loss of life, destruction of property and breakdown of social relations. Since the end of this crisis, however, the country seems to have returned to development in view of the various socio-economic infrastructures built to date, in a context marked by the return of investors. In addition to this, at the political level, significant progress has been made through the organization of peaceful presidential and local elections in 2015, the progressive establishment of the institutions of the republic and the adoption of a new constitution. Despite all these efforts, social cohesion is not yet complete and reconciliation remains precarious. For example, the national political game is still bipolarized, with a fringe of the opposition still refusing to participate in the various elections. There is also a resurgence of violence at various levels of society.
