O autor é um antropólogo. Tem uma experiência de investigação versátil em trabalhos relacionados com a gestão social, cultural, educacional e de catástrofes urbanas. Tem também experiência de trabalho de investigação com ONGs nacionais e internacionais e organizações de investigação como Care Bangladesh, ICDDRB e BRAC.
