From the findings of this book it appears that the problem of eve teasing is very pervasive in public university than private university. Book findings also point out that patriarchal social system, socialization process, negative attitude towards women, lack of strict laws are the main causes of eve teasing. To ensure overall development of the country, women who constitute almost half of the total population need to participate in higher education. But unfortunately eve teasers are hindering their participation.

Fawzia Rafique Laboni is done with BSS and MSS from the Department and Women and Gender Studies, University of Dhaka Bangladesh. Now she is pursuing her second Masters and also working at BRAC as Sector Specialist in Gender Justice and Diversity Division. Her areas of interests are mainly gender based violence, women's empowerment and poverty.
