Professor Mao Yunshi, a renowned professor and a mentor to Ph.D candidates in Sun Yat-Sen Business School (SYSBS) of Sun Yat-Sen University, has high prestige in business administration for his achievements both in research and as a consultant. He is one of the most prestigious scholars in the research area of enterprise transformation and upgrading in China. He has 11 monographs published in Chinese. These books involve different research areas like enterprise expansion, M&A, multinational corporation management, and enterprise transformation and upgrading. They enjoy popularity among scholars, policy makers, and practitioners. Some of his works like Multinationals in China: Competition and Cooperation; International environment and transnational business; M & A and restructuring: the10 cross-century classic reorganizations are reprinted several times. Among the academic conferences he hosted, two are of international influence. One is the international conference on "Comparative Study of Chinese and Japanese Management." The other is international conference on " EU-China business relations ". Both are very successful and have produced good results.
