Autorenporträt
Lewis Carroll, geboren 1832 in Daresbury/England, war Dozent für Logik und Mathematik in Oxford und Autor weltberühmter Kinderbücher. Für die kleine Tochter seines Dekans schrieb er zwei Klassiker der Weltliteratur: "Alice in Wonderland" (Alice im Wunderland) und "Through the Looking-Glass" (Alice hinter den Spiegeln). Lewis Carroll starb 1898 in Guildford.
