The Editors: Susan Talburt teaches cultural studies and social foundations of education at Georgia State University. She is the author of Subject to Identity: Knowledge, Sexuality, and Academic Practices in Higher Education.
Shirley R. Steinberg is co-author of Changing Multiculturalism: New Times, New Curriculum (with Joe L. Kincheloe). Her current research involves issues of diversity, popular culture, and curriculum.
