For that reason, poetry has an important place in literature education. Considering this importance, teachers should employ various materials in teaching poetry. This study shows that audio-visual materials are powerful tools which help the students develop positive attitudes towards poetry. Also, they can gain pleasure from reading poetry by means of audio-visual materials.
