Katy Sloop Roberts grew up in Virginia. She has a degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Katy has enjoyed writing since her grandparents gave her a lined journal for Christmas at age seven. Fortuna Finds a Family is her second book. As an Air Force spouse, she has lived in many U.S. states, Germany, and Italy.
