James M. Rankin is author of numerous books and CD audio programs including three novels, "The Source of the Shining', 'The Cherished Gift' and the 'Poet Rhyme'. One of his titles, 'Power of the Creed' has been endorsed by an International Organization and is used for self-development. His recent book, 'The Optimistic Leadership Principle' has been used in workshops to improve leadership skills to assist in all phases of life from personal, corporate and civic. James is an Executive Vice President of a national marketing company. He is a past Governor of South Texas Optimist District along with serving as a District Director for Toastmasters International. James is active in his community serving as President of the Pachyderm. James has been a Gideon for two years and is a member of the Methodist church. He enjoys tennis, sailing and fishing. He is a martial arts enthusiast and triathlete and enjoys staying in shape in all dimensions: the body, mind and spirit.
