Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) is a critical field of study which requires diligence and dedication for a prosperous future generations. As a society, we must work tirelessly to improve it day by day and make it more inhabitable for the learners in a way that does not or least creates conflict, stress and anxiety in the lives of children however, male teachers are missing in most Preschools, can this affect the learners' performance? It is my belief that the absence of male teachers inhibits the holistic development and general performance of the children. This book presents the intrigues of numbers, causes of these numbers, the parents views on this numbers and the answers on the roles of males as far as learning is concerned in Preschools. It is in this light that this Book seeks to enlighten the world on why male teachers form an integral part of the ECDE curriculum implementation. It details and offers insights on what we can do as a society to remediate the situation, what we must do as a government, community and as or parents to increase the number of male teachers in our ECDE/ECE Centres.
