The discernment of the subtleties of the error that is hidden as truth so that the splendor of the beauty of the mystery of divine revelation may appear, this has been the main mission of theology since the Fathers of the Church, among others Irenaeus of Lyons. This was also the intuition of Hans Urs von Balthasar in the face of the trap of Western rationalism, against which he invites us to revisit the path of self-revelation of a God who "shows himself", "gives himself" and "tells himself" so that man can enter into his mystery.
