The findings of the study discovered that the participants in the experimental group showed a positive attitude toward using smartphones for extensive reading and achieved scores on the VLT. It is also suggested that reading on mobile phones helps EFL students in learning the second language because of the accessibility to the information whenever and where ever learners need it with today's modern electronic gadgets.
