Autorenporträt
Heather Antonelli knew from an early age that she wanted to see the world. Through her career as the owner of a product development and sourcing firm in the international home furnishings industry, she has been able to achieve that. While her passion is travel, her first stops in any new destination are the food markets. There, she can discover new flavors, new ingredients, and new dishes to create for friends and family. India, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and South Africa are just a few places where she draws inspiration for new recipes. While living in Brooklyn, New York, Heather started a supper club to continue sharing her cooking with others. For each supper, she created the theme and menu, publicized it on her website and blog, and welcomed over a dozen guests to her long, decorated dining table in her brownstone apartment. The dinners were a hit, with tickets often selling out in forty-eight hours. Antonelli is the author of another cookbook, Haute in the Kitchen. At home, she enjoys cooking for friends and family, sharing her new discoveries. She now lives in southern California and enjoys cooking with her four-year-old daughter.
