Dr. Tiana Woolridge is a sports medicine physician and pediatrician in Los Angeles, California. The daughter of 13-year NBA veteran, Orlando Woolridge, she won a national gold medal in volleyball before a standout collegiate career at Princeton University. While she was a graduate student at Harvard University, she designed and implemented an award-wining school-based mental health program called Embrace the Mind. Now, in addition to her clinical services, she presents nationally on mental health for schools, conferences, and athletic departments. Lisa Bonta Sumii, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and practicing psychotherapist with over two decades of clinical experience. She is also a mental performance consultant, empowering athletes to harness the power of their minds for peak performance. Lisa is the first-ever Mental Performance Coach for the Oakland Roots SC, now in her third season with the club. She is also the CEO and Founder of AthMindset(R), a team of diverse practitioners serving athletes and the sport ecosystem across the country. She has a Tedx Talk, and is an accomplished national and international speaker. Sam Kotmel is an artist who graduated from Otis College of Art and Design with a major in Motion Design and a minor in Graphic Design. Sam is also a mental health advocate who has been a keynote speaker and volunteer on multiple mental health forums and events around the Bay Area. Sam's passion for art and mental health was the driving force for her contributions to this workbook.
