Considering the intense exploitation that tele-service workers suffer in their daily work and the intense control and monitoring imposed on them, this paper aims to understand what the Telecommunications Workers' Union of Pernambuco (SINTTEL-PE) is doing to confront the intense processes of exploitation and guarantee decent working conditions. Therefore, our objectives are to identify and analyse the political and organisational strategies used by the union and to understand how workers respond to these strategies, in the sense of understanding how they articulate with the union. We believe that this study is important because it contributes to unveiling perverse processes that are obscured and because it is an ethical commitment of the social worker to contribute to the societal project of the working class.
