Our study described the epidemiological, diagnostic, clinical and therapeutic characteristics of patients hospitalized in the internal medicine department of the Military Hospital of Tunis for Takayasu disease during a study period from January 2002 to June 2020. The main conclusions of our work are the following: On the epidemiological level, we noted the young age of our patients and the female predominance. Clinically, the abolition or reduction of a pulse was the most present manifestation followed by an asymmetry of the blood pressure. The treatment modalities were variable according to the clinical manifestations of the disease, their evolution and the socio-economic conditions of the patients. All patients were treated with systemic corticosteroids. The addition of immunosuppressive treatment was either immediate or according to the evolution. Even if the evolution of TM was unpredictable depending on the severity of the disease, most of our patients had a favourable evolution.
