Okba Taouali erhielt 2010 seinen Doktortitel in Elektrotechnik von der National School of Engineers of Monastir (ENIM). Derzeit ist er Dozent am ENIM (Tunesien) und Professor am FCIT der Universität Tabuk, Saudi-Arabien. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind: Maschinelles Lernen, Kernel-Methoden, Fehlerdiagnose.
