This book is divided into four chapters and it describes the important features of dithiocarbamates and its synthesis. The first chapter deals with the introduction part and the synthesis of dithiocarbamates. We have developed an efficient, novel, and simple procedure for the direct synthesis of dithiocarbamates employing amines, CS2, and alkyl halides, in one-pot, without the use of any catalyst in aqueous condition. The second chapter, dithiocarbamate, and DBU promoted the synthesis of N-phenyl amides under microwave condition has been discussed. we report a highly efficient…mehr

The second chapter, dithiocarbamate, and DBU promoted the synthesis of N-phenyl amides under microwave condition has been discussed. we report a highly efficient microwave-assisted one-pot synthesis of amides using various substituted acids and substituted dithiocarbamates. In the third chapter, dithiocarbamate promoted the synthesis of 2-(N-substituted)-aminobenzimidazoles has been discussed. Herein, we reported a highly efficient copper (II) oxide-mediated one-pot synthesis of 2-(N-Substituted)-aminobenzimidazoles using variously substituted diamines and substituted dithiocarbamates. The last chapter, dithiocarbamate promoted the synthesis of N-aryl-2-aminobenzazoles using o-aminophenol or o-aminothiophenol at room temperature with high yields has been discussed.
