Produktbeschreibung
Although there have been monographs on many aspects of electromagnetics, there has not been a single text that covers symbolic techniques of computational electromagnetics. This book shows how to use the symbolic computation techniques for electromagnetics. It is intended for engineers and/or graduate students and it may be used for a one-semester course. Symbolic computation techniques help to derive rapid calculations without mistakes for electromagnetic problems. This book is made use of the material prepared for a course at the University of Technology Zürich and it is designed for electrical engineering or physics with the knowledge of electromagnetic theory, Maxwell's equations, vector analysis, and partial differential equations. The table of contents is divided into 9 chapters. The first chapter discusses the vector analysis using symbolic computation techniques. The remainder of the text is concerned with the development of different electromagnetic fields.
