Lorena Ysraela Oliveira Silva has a degree in Zootechnics from the Federal University of Uberlândia, and Manoel Eduardo Rozalino Santos has a PhD in Zootechnics from the Federal University of Viçosa. He is currently an Adjunct Professor IV at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) and a permanent professor on the postgraduate programme in veterinary sciences at UFU.
