About the Author Retired now after twenty three years of service in the Permanent Defence Force (Irish Army), John O'Brien now lives in County Kildare, Ireland, with his wife. John O'Brien lived and worked for over thirty years in Pakistan, as a witness to the gospel. He is Associate Professor of Theology (Research) in Durham University.
