Among his publications are Shakespeare and the Shapes of Time, Staging theRenaissance (ed. with Peter Stallybrass), Critical Essayson Shakespeare's Hamlet, and The New History of EarlyEnglish Drama (ed. with John Cox). He is also a general editor of the Arden Shakespeare.
