Samuel Needs is an Australian professional rugby union player who plays in the front row, predominantly as a tighthead prop. He has played for the NSW Waratahs, NSW Country Eagles, Warringah Rats, Eastwood Rugby Club, and is currently playing in Japan. Away from rugby, Sam is a qualified Exercise and Sports Scientist with over 10 years' experience in the industry. In conjunction with learnings from his strength and conditioning coaches, Sam utilises this knowledge in his own training, so that he can develop the necessary optimal qualities needed for his position
