This is a qualitative research based on ethnographic research design. The study was carried out to explore how and what changes were experiencing by Gaine Communnity from schooling. In Nepalese society, there are social, economic and educational inequalities on the basis of caste, ethnicity, gender and class. Gaines are also suffering from social discrimination and are excluded from educational opportunities. However,it is also equally true that they have been experiencing schooling from quite a long time and has been experiencing several socio-economic changes as the outcomes of schooling. Gaines think that schooling gives employment opportunities, brings social change and establishes new social relation.
