The optimized post tanning recipe resulted in upper leathers with visibly reduced vein marks, growth marks and strength and organoleptic properties are on par with that of control leathers. Thus, this study shows that vein marks and growth mark defect in leathers can be overcome by suitable post tanning process modifications.

Mein Name ist Mr. Teshome Zerihun. Ich wurde am 22.05.1992 in Äthiopien, Region Oromia, in der Nähe der Stadt Bekoji geboren. Ich habe meinen ersten Abschluss in Ledertechnik an der Bahirdar-Universität gemacht und studiere meinen Master in Lederdesign und Produkttechnik an der Bahirdar-Universität, wo ich als Dozent in der Lederabteilung arbeite.
