Kerry Ahrend is a trainer, speaker, career coach, and certified project management professional (PMP®). She has travelled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, and internationally delivering training and performance improvement interventions to Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, non-profits, and small entrepreneurial enterprises in the best practices of project management, leadership development, team building, communications, negotiation skills, conflict resolution, and business process analysis. For over twenty years Kerry has worked with individuals and organizations to increase skills and competencies and help people meet their challenges with confidence. For the past ten plus years Kerry has used her knowledge of how to plan, execute, and deliver successful projects to coach those in transition. As a career coach, she has worked with one of the leading providers of career transition services in the world. She works with professionals and those in transition to assess their skills, strengths, core competencies, and other essential information to help map out a strategy to achieve their career goals. Kerry has a Master's Degree in Human Resources Training and Development; a Master's certificate in Project Management from George Washington University; a Project Management Professional (PMP¿) certification; and is a certified trainer, speaker, and coach with the John Maxwell Team. On the personal side, Kerry is an animal advocate and volunteers with several dog rescue groups (she's a cat lover too!) She fosters, fundraises, and coordinates events. She has worked with Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC) for over 18 years and participates in other volunteer activities through her church, alumni association, and other charitable organizations. Volunteering to help those in need is a passion of Kerry's and one of the inspirations and motivation for writing Project Career QUEST!
