Literature survey has indicated that majority of the co-crystals of ibuprofen were prepared with low molecular weight coformers. In the present study, it was demonstrated that ibuprofen forms co-crystals with high molecular weight coformers like povidone K- 25 and K-30. We have successfully achieved two objectives.1.
