Ndiassé Diop ist Doktor der Kommunikations- und Sprachwissenschaften und studierte an der Universität Dakar, wo er Pragmatik an der Abteilung für Linguistik unterrichtet. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Diskurslinguistik und Pragmatik unter der Leitung von Professor Momar Cissé, dem Leiter der genannten Abteilung.
