The author, Dr. Kelly Renee Schutz, is not a psychic but a sensitive intuitive, who has encountered several unexplained paranormal situations over the past several years and to date, continues to interact with and analyze paranormal situations. Dr. Schutz travels the world staying at haunted locations in an attempt to seek out, experience, and explain paranormal events. Dr. Schutz has written a number of illustrated books on her personal experiences with the paranormal and in Volume 4, discusses a wide range of supernatural topics such as dreams, death, hauntings, demons, ghost animals, portals, moon phases, psychics, and spectral sites.
