The most important development in the implemmentation of the language as medium are student performance improved, the understanding level of students increased,the "shinashigna" language become a written language and there is some positive attidue towards the language of instruction from the community.The most dominant challenges of the shinashigna medium are lack of well trainned teachers , lack of research and training, lack books, poor support from the concerned politicans , no reference materials in the language,weak capacity of training instituion and poor on time provision of text books are the common problems that affect the program implemmentation.The study suggetsted that the government and NGOs has to support the effective use of "Shinashigna" in education to promote the development of the "Shinasha" culture and language. Therfore, the concerned bodies has to do more for the conserevation of the the tradition , belives, values ,customs and practices of the"Shinasha" People since their language is part of the world heritage.

About the AuthorThe author of this book is Mr. Abeje Gudeta, a lecturer at university of Jijija in educational planning and management under the Faculty of Education. He was born in 1980 in a place locally called Eganembo in north western part of the country from a farmer family where education was seen as leisure to the community in the area.
