This paper aims to understand if the memory built in order to produce economic and symbolic value, for the ballet show "Encantos destes Campos" in 2004, from La Ballerina Ballet Academy in the city of Ponta Grossa (PR), contributed to the construction and/or strengthening of local identity of the dancers, in the perspective that it had an approach referring to local history. Through the discussion of concepts such as memory, culture, cultural heritage, identity and the cultural panorama of the city where it was produced, to base the understanding of the show on the perspective of cultural production, it was possible to analyze this, in its production process and in the presentations, as well as produce a questionnaire that was applied online via the Google Docs Form tool to some cast members.

Isabele Fogaça de Almeida, Masterstudentin in Geschichte, Kultur und Identität an der UEPG und Studentin des zweiten Studiengangs in Pädagogik an der UniSecal. Sie hat einen Abschluss in Geschichte an der UEPG (2017); von 2014 bis 2018 war sie Teil des Unterprojektteams für Geschichte von PIBID UEPG und unterrichtet derzeit in der frühkindlichen Bildung in einem privaten Bildungsnetzwerk.
