Drug-induced toxicity is a major concern in drug development and clinical care. Methods translating in vitro findings into the patient level are needed. This work presents computational concepts to estimate the impact of drug exposure on the cellular biochemistry that are ultimately driving drug-induced toxicities. Thus, contributing to our mechanistic understanding of the underlying processes and may allow the identification of biomarkers that indicate drug efficacy and toxicity in the future.
